Praying for Our Priests
Please note that Father Matthew's Day of Prayer is Tuesday, July 1st and Fr. Alex' Day of Prayer is next Wednesday, July 9th.
Each month we have the opportunity to pray for the priests of the Springfield Diocese by name. (See the calendar below/attached and the bulletin board in Marian Hall.)
PRAYER HELPERS OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD MONTHLY PRAYER FOR PRIESTS IN THE DIOCESE OF SPRINGFIELD, MA
Lord Jesus, Whose mercy is endless, we adore Your wounded and agonizing Heart, which bore great pains for the salvation of the world. Divine Lamb of God, You suffered sorrowfully for love of mankind. In fear and anguish, You sweat Blood in the Garden of Gethsemane. From the Cross, You shed every last drop. You held nothing back of Yourself for Your Church; may our priests do the same in their sacred ministry. Fill their hearts to overflowing with a spirit of self-sacrificial love
and generosity. We beg Your protection and guidance for all clergy, especially [Name], that they might forever remain faithful and true adorers of Your Most Precious Blood. Amen.
